Chess.com

Chess.com is also a good tool to study chess endgames. They have a special feature drill where you can play famous endgame positions against the computer. I used this drills feature lot of times and found it very interesting. 

Lichess

Lichess is a completely free open-source software where there are thousands of endgame chess puzzles for all levels. You can use that and boost your chess strength. Although lichess is not as good as chess.com and chessable in terms of endgame puzzles.

100 Endgames You Must Know the most popular chess endgame book. Jesus de la villa selected 100 endgames puzzles consisting of pawn endgame to queen endgame. This endgame book is a complete dose to study core endgames. Jesus selected easy positions which generally came in games. 

After finishing This book, you can buy 2nd book of this series 100 Endgames You Must Know Workbook: Practical Endgame Exercises for Every Chess Player by Jesus De La Villa. In this book, he has given some endgame positions to solve. 

Silman’s Complete Endgame Course by Jeremy Silman

Silmon’s endgame book is written by International Master Jermy Silmon. The author has also written other very famous books such as How to Reassess Your Chess and the complete book of chess strategy. 

In this book, Silmon created rating-wise chapters. This book is recommended for players from unrated to 2000. It will take atleast 4-5 months to finish this 530 pages chess book. 

Endgame Strategy by Mikhail Shereshevsky

This is one of my favorite chess books which I finished 3 times in the last 6 years. In this book, Mikhail Shereshevsky gives lots of practical chess positions and explanations. The author is one of the strongest chess players and trainers from Byelorussia. Along with classic examples, there are endings both of leading chess grandmasters as well as less well-known players. The main key point of this book is that author explained specific advice and recommendations on how to improve the endgame technique.

Mastering Complex Endgames by Adrian Mikhalchishin and Oleg Stetsko

This book is very similar to the Endgame Strategy book. In this book, Andrian Mikhalchishin explains a few complex endgame positions in very simple explanations. I will recommend purchasing this book if you finished the Shereshevsky book first. This type of book will improve your understanding of the chess endgame. Even if you don’t want to buy any book, then you can watch top-level games and analyze them by yourself.

Capablanca’s Best Chess Endings: 60 Complete Games by Irving Chernev

I finished this book in 2012. At that time I was an unrated player with very limited chess knowledge. This book is not for the absolute beginner. If you are a player between beginner and Intermediate, then you can start this book. In each game, Irving Chernev explained his thoughts and wrote in very simple technical words. You will be amazed how Capablanca played some beautiful games in that era.
