Hi, I’m IM Nikhil Dixit — a professional chess player, coach, and creator from Pune, India. My journey in chess started as a kid fascinated by the sixty-four squares, and over the years, it’s taken me across the world, from local tournaments in Maharashtra to international events in 22+ countries.

I earned the title of International Master, but the journey doesn’t end there — it continues through my current mission: the Road to GM. I share this pursuit transparently through newsletters, videos, and blogs — not just as a record of my growth, but as a playbook for every ambitious player trying to make their mark in modern chess.
